給美國(guó)接待家庭的自我介紹

Dear Sir or Madam,

　　I’m the student whom you will receive. I’m honored to become a member of your family in this short holiday. This is my first visit to the United States. I feel a little nervous but I’m excited as well. My English name is Sam. There are four people in my family, my father, my mother, my sister and me. We live peacefully and warmly. On the weekends, I sometimes help my family with some housework, and do some simple cooking occasionally.

　　I love playing basketball, and I am eager to be an NBA player. Actually I join a small group of basketball at school, and we play it for about twice a week. I love fishing too. But I am not good at it. :) I have two little pets, a fish and a turtle. I also like little dogs, I think they are lovely. But I will be scared by the big dogs. 

　　I like making friends with different kinds of people, and my friends often say I am easy-going. :) I sincerely thank you for your hospitality, and I also hope that we will have infinite joy and everlasting memories in this holiday.
